DAY 7 Tissamaharama & Yala National Park

Perched high above Ella’s village, this iconic cliff offers panoramic views over the picturesque hill country and expansive plains below. Following your sunrise adventure, journey to Tissamaharama, with a captivating stop en route to explore the Buduruwagala Rock Cut Buddha Statues. Dating back to the 9th or 10th century, these ancient sculptures are carved into a towering cliff, with the largest standing at an impressive 51 feet, making it the tallest Buddha statue in Sri Lanka.
